Shipping and Delivery Policy

All shipping from Kaithary.com will be done from India now and we are planning to have stocking and shipping facilities from major international logistics hubs in the future. The shipping will be done through reputed courier firms or by Speed Post with proper packing. All domestic orders within India are shipped free of cost. For International Shipping, the shipping charges are calculated based on the total weight and volume of the package.

All ex-stock items will be shipped within three (3) days of receipt of order or a maximum of five (5) days in case of long of holidays falling in between. Most of the customers in India would get their ordered items within seven (7) days of order in normal course and a maximum of ten (10) days unless there is a delay from the courier company due to unforeseen reasons. International deliveries could take ten to fifteen days from the date of shipment.

There could be a delay in the delivery of materials if the stitching is required as part of the order. In such cases, the delivery could be between ten to fifteen days depending on the type of stitching required by the customer.

We request our esteemed customers to provide the correct postal address with pin code and phone number to ensure the quickest confirmed delivery on all orders. Kaithary.com cannot be responsible for delivery delays resulting from an incomplete address provided by the customer.

Please note that Kaithary.com cannot take any responsibility for refused shipments (unwillingness to accept the delivery) by the recipients such as unwanted gifts to Girls or ladies that are addressed to Schools/ Colleges/Other Educational Institutions/ Hostels or even to an office or house address either refused by the recipients or the officials at such institutions. All such orders are to be placed at the customers’ own risk. Kaithary.com will under no circumstances accept a cancellation and issue a refund or credit to the customer’s account, nor do a re-shipment of the same order.

Kaithary.com offers a gift message service free of cost to its esteemed customers. Customer can send us the message content by email to support@kaithary.com with the order reference number and we shall include the printed message with the shipment. Kaithary.com reserves the right to reject any unpleasant content in the message.

Bulk Orders

Bulk orders shall be shipped by alternate shipping options to reduce the cost. The customer may provide the details of their preferred way of shipping (by road, sea, or air) and the preferred shipping company. Shipping charges for bulk orders will be calculated based on volumetric weight and communicated back to the customer.

Transit Insurance

All parcels sent by Kaithary.com are insured for transit risk. Customers may not suffer any loss if the courier company fails to deliver. Kaithary.com will not be responsible for lost and stolen packages or any full or partial damages to the package after being delivered to the customer’s address by a postal / courier agency.

Tracking of Shipments

Kaithary.com team will send an email to the customer regarding the shipment of the material as soon as the items are handed over to the Courier or postal agency. These alert emails will contain the tracking number and courier company’s website details. Customers can track the parcel movement with the given shipment details through the websites of the courier companies.

Customs and Octroi Charges

In normal cases, the shipping charges include the customs duty also. But due to changes in government policies, there are chances that a customer may have to pay additional import duties and taxes which are levied once a shipment reaches the destination country. In such cases where additional customs charges are assessed, the customer will be responsible for paying the additional fees. All international shipments are done through reputed international couriers to make your shopping experience trouble-free. If the customer is presented with an invoice from the courier company for import duties and taxes, then the customer will have to pay the due amount directly to the courier company at the time of delivery.

Sometimes it is difficult to arrive at the exact taxes and levies payable because different tax systems exist in different states within India. We tried our best to make sure that no additional charges are payable by the customers by sending the items through reputed couriers. In the case, where additional duties or taxes are assessed, the customer will be responsible for paying these additional fees. However, you may send us a mail in this regard to support@kaithary.com so that we can take proactive measures to avoid such instances in the future.
